Jones Family Farms alone is worth the drive, and it is not even the one I’d send you to first.

Every fall I get the same question from people moving to Fairfield County: once the weather turns, what is actually worth doing out here?

Start with Silverman’s Farm in Easton. Go early, grab something from the country market, and give yourself a full hour because you are going to want it. Between the pumpkins, farm animals and fall treats, it is an easy way to spend a fall morning.

Then head to Castle Hill Farm in Newtown. It is the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy the season, with pumpkin picking, hayrides and a corn maze.

The other three are worth your Saturday too: Blue Jay Orchards in Bethel, Warrup’s Farm in Redding, and Jones Family Farms in Shelton.

Save this for fall, send it to someone new to Fairfield County, and make a Saturday out of it.

August was filled with moments I know I’ll carry with me forever. ❤️❤️
I had the most beautiful time traveling through California and Mexico with Christina and her future in-laws as we explored wedding venues, discovered incredible places, shared memorable meals, and began imagining all the details of what will be such a meaningful celebration.
As a mother, there is something so special about watching your daughter step into this next chapter of her life. Seeing Christina so happy, surrounded by love, and dreaming about her wedding day made every moment feel even more significant.
The settings were stunning, the time together was unforgettable, and the experience became about so much more than choosing a venue. It was about family, connection, and the beginning of two families coming together.
I’m incredibly grateful for this season, for the beauty of the journey, the memories we are creating along the way, and the joy of watching Christina and Asher build a life together.

From newlyweds to a family of four… and now, their forever home. 🏡❤️
