And next week? Concrete starts flowing for the first home slabs. 🙌

There's a version of your morning that starts with a cup of coffee, a sunrise over the marsh, and a walk where the only sound is birds. That version lives at Foxtail Commons. 🌅

We spend a lot of time talking about what's near us — the beaches, the restaurants, the airports. But the most underrated part of life in the Lowcountry? The mornings.

Imagine this:
6:15am. You brew your coffee — maybe you picked it up from Half Day Cafe on Okatie Highway the day before, because that's just what you do now — and you step outside. The air is warm and soft. The light on the marsh is doing something that genuinely stops you.

You clip on your dog's leash and head toward Sergeant Jasper Park, a few minutes down the road. The trails are quiet at this hour. There's a heron standing perfectly still at the edge of the lake. We wanted to share some photos with you! A couple of weeks ago, shipping containers full of building materials were delivered -huge thank you to Mac's Crane for helping us get everything safely in place! 🙌

Behind the scenes:
✅ Water lines installed
✅ Storm drain in place
✅ Roads and home pads being graded and compacted

It may look like dirt and equipment now, but this is the groundwork that will turn into streets, homes, and a real neighborhood. We’re getting closer every day!
