DBI Properties is a major multi-family management company with about 1,600 apartment homes located throughout Upstate New York. began building residential multi-family communities in the Rochester, New York Area. me builders in Monroe County. In 1969, the company broke ground on one of Rochester’s first planned developments: Stoney Creek. This popular community offered a mix of 350 single-family homes for sale and the 534-unit Stoney Creek Apartments. This community is still part of DBI’s portfolio. In the 1970s, the company developed another important community, North Glen Apartments. This community is also still part of the DBI portfolio and is one of Rochester’s most popular apartment communities. Built in 2013, The Villas at Carriage Glen is the newest DBI community. In 1985, a new generation of Bierworths decided to change the company name to reflect their passion: home building. They renamed the company Bierworth & Bierworth Builders, Inc. The development firm built more than 3,000 single-family homes and more than 2,000 rental apartments throughout the metro Rochester area. One of the newer developments by DBI Properties, Georgetown Park, is an award-winning apartment community for active seniors. Noted for its outstanding landscaping, Georgetown Park has won several beautification awards. Another recent development, Carriage Glen, is considered one of the premier apartment communities in the Rochester area.
