We hear it all the time “inventory” this and that in real estate. But does that make you cringe? Is my seller a one off or do you agree? Does the word inventory seem impersonal when discussing homes for sale?

Look, Homeownership at ANY age is still a huge accomplishment. However, 43 is now the AVERAGE age of a first time home buyer. I was 23 when I bought my first home. That blows my mind.
Everyone is different. Heart disease runs rampant in my family, and my dad only lived to see 59. I couldn't imagine buying a home at 43 just to live another 16 years. I'm so thankful we bought our little house when we did. It was one of the smartest decisions I've ever made. If you're still renting, this is your sign to get pre-approved and buy a home. 2026 is here, don't let the years pass you by and say "where has the time gone". Trust me, it's easier than you think.
