When someone says Mid-Century (or more specifically Mid-Century Modern), they're referring to a design movement that became popular roughly between 1945 and 1969, following World War II.

The style is known for:

- Clean, simple lines with very little ornamentation.
- Natural materials, especially walnut and teak wood.
- Large windows that bring the outdoors in.

- Organic and geometric shapes, often with bold patterns.
