My husband had a cool treat on his beach walk this a.m. He walked towards the Rodanthe Pier and saw some National Park Service Rangers digging in the sand excavating a sea turtle nest! The tracks were still visible (outlined on the top right pic). The eggs were being relocated to a less populated area per the rangers.
And just as an added bonus, we have our beach back!
