During showings, buyers rarely walk through a home thinking about paint colors or cabinet hardware first. What they notice immediately is how the house functions: • Does the kitchen connect to the living space? • Do the main rooms feel easy to move through? • Does the layout make sense for everyday life? After enough spring markets, I have noticed buyers almost always change their priorities once they start walking through homes. The things they were certain about online suddenly become negotiable. The must-have list gets quieter. And one house will stand out for a reason they didn’t expect.
