Most of you know that a chunk of each commission I make goes right back into the community. Leading up to Christmas this year we were able to partner with other concerned citizens, and a local social worker, to deliver three truckloads of supplies to the homeless in Odgen. Several were SO close to being able to afford the up front costs to rent again. There was so much hope at that event!

One of them was a fully disabled veteran and his family. They were working their way through waiting lists at the VA to access their benefits. A friend of mine responded to my request for help with an amazing resource to expedite assistance to our homeless veterans. She knew of an organization that I didn't know existed. This veteran and his family are now safely housed, and still working on accessing his benefits for serving our country.

If each of us lifts where we stand, we can do so much good! Safe housing is so important to our society. I am committed to helping friends and family find a safe place to land, and to helping those who are ready to change their lives for the better.

Ooh, Northern Utah friends! This has been in the works for a while and they are finally ready to go out! I've decided that after 8 years of real estate, I am going to do this thing my way. I LOVE people, so I have partnered with my favorite industry team of lendors, escrow officers, and home warranty companies to prep gift bags full of swag. I've been making custom tumblers and water bottles to go with the rest of the goodies.
