THIRST TRAP THURSDAY 🏰♟️✨

Okayyyy… this week we’re going a little off the rails.

Part castle. Part Alice in Wonderland. Part “we absolutely need to know the story behind this house.” 😂

This Midland property is nearly 7,000 sq ft sitting on 3.6 acres, and every swipe somehow gets MORE interesting. The architecture. The dramatic rooms. The whimsical decor. And then you get outside and THERE IS A GIANT CHESS BOARD. ♟️

Like… are we buying a house or are we about to follow the White Rabbit somewhere? 🐇

We genuinely cannot decide if our favorite part is the castle exterior, the over-the-top interiors, or the fact that the backyard looks like it could host a very sophisticated game of human chess.

If you were sitting across the table from us saying, “Okay, but what do I REALLY need to know before I sell right now?” this is what we’d tell you. 👀

Homes are still selling. The market is just different than it was a couple years ago.

Buyers have more options, they’re noticing condition, they’re negotiating again, and pricing matters a LOT.

And probably the biggest thing we’d tell you? Pay attention to what the market is telling you.

If you’re getting showings but no offers, that means something. If you’re not getting showings at all, that means something too. Sometimes the right move is to stay patient. Sometimes the right move is to adjust quickly.

That’s where having someone actually watching the market with you matters.

We’re not big on the “throw it on the MLS and hope” strategy 😂 We’d much rather look at the data, talk through what buyers are doing, and make a smart move from there.

Helping a parent through a move can come with a lot of emotions, questions and moving pieces, so being trusted by both our client and her daughter throughout the process was something we did not take lightly.
