Did you know lithium-ion batteries can cause fires when placed in household garbage or recycling carts?

Items like rechargeable batteries, cell phones, laptops, power tools, e-cigarettes, and other electronic devices should never be disposed of in curbside garbage or recycling containers.

Before disposal, tape the battery terminals and take them to an approved drop-off location for proper recycling. This helps protect collection workers, recycling facilities, equipment, and our community. ♻️
