Boerne is getting some national recognition, and it’s not even Christmas yet.

Boerne is one of 25 finalists nationwide and the only Texas community in Hallmark Channel’s 2026 Merriest Christmas Town contest. Public voting is open through September 4, with the winning town earning the title and the opportunity to host a future Hallmark Christmas movie.
