Remember those unforgettable jazz nights in the Upper Haight?

After more than 3 years, The DeLuxe on Haight Street is preparing to bring live music back to one of San Francisco's most iconic venues.

Formerly known as Club Deluxe, the restored space plans to feature jazz, blues, Latin music, and live performances 7 nights a week, along with a new stage, upgraded sound, and classic cocktails.

For many locals, this is more than a reopeningβ€”it's the return of a San Francisco institution.

What happens when you transform a 129-year-old military building into a modern food destination with some of the best views in San Francisco?

The answer is The Mess Hall, coming to historic Building 201 at Presidio Tunnel Tops on Halleck Street.

This beautifully restored Army building dates back to 1897 and is being transformed into a dining destination featuring artisan breads, fresh seafood, specialty coffee, cocktails, and spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz.

With views of the Bay, the Bridge, and one of San Francisco's most beloved parks, The Mess Hall could soon become one of the city's most unique places to gather, dine, and enjoy the waterfront.

Have you ever seen fireworks launch directly from the Golden Gate Bridge?

Most San Franciscans haven't.

This July Fourth, as America celebrates its two hundred fiftieth birthday, fireworks will launch from the towers of the Golden Gate Bridge for only the third time in history.

The last time this happened was in two thousand twelve for the bridge's seventy-fifth anniversary. Before that, it was nineteen eighty-seven.

The show is expected to begin around nine thirty in the evening, with prime viewing from Crissy Field, Marina Green, Pier Thirty-Nine, and San Francisco's northern waterfront.

One important reminder: the Golden Gate Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic before and during the show, and parking is expected to fill quickly. Public transit is highly recommended.

Will you be there to witness this historic San Francisco celebration?
