One of the biggest mistakes buyers make during a home tour is focusing too much on the things that are easiest to change.

Paint color? Easy.

Furniture? It is not staying.

Light fixtures? Replaceable.

A floor plan that does not work for your lifestyle? Much harder.

During a showing, pay attention to the layout, room sizes, storage, natural light, flow between spaces, and whether the home realistically works for how you live.

The goal is not to find a perfect home.

It is to understand what you are buying.
