And before anybody says a WORD about all those clothes on my bed… 😂 It’s a king-size bed with ONE sleeper, so technically I have plenty of room! Plus, I’ve been too busy working to worry about hanging all of this up.

VA LOAN UPDATE ✅️🏡

🇺🇸 VA BUYERS — THIS IS A BIG DEAL! 🏡
VA recently updated how certain collection accounts can be calculated when determining the monthly payment used for qualifying.
Previously, 5% of the outstanding balance could be used as the monthly payment.
Now, that calculation is 5% of the outstanding balance ÷ 12. 👏🏾👏🏾
That difference can be HUGE when we're calculating your debt-to-income ratio and determining how much home you may qualify for.
So if you’re a Veteran who: 🇺🇸 Thought your collections prevented you from qualifying
🇺🇸 Were previously told your debt-to-income ratio was too high
🇺🇸 Put homeownership on hold because of credit challenges
It may be time for us to take another look.
A previous “not yet” does NOT always mean “not now.” 👀

Nobody fuss at me team. 😂 Nobody say I’m doing too much. I’m just PROUD, and I wanted to take a minute to shout out an organization that I am genuinely excited to serve with — the Ivory Bay Community Development Corporation ! 🙌🏾🏡✨

Ivory Bay has been doing community-centered work on Savannah’s Westside for years — advocating for residents, protecting the interests of historically underserved neighborhoods, encouraging thoughtful development, and working toward stronger communities and opportunities for the people who call them home.

And now… I get to be a part of it. 🥹💛

I am incredibly proud to serve as one of Ivory Bay CDC’s newest Board Members and to bring my own knowledge, experiences, ideas, and heart for community to the table.

For me, this connects to something much bigger.

My life experiences have shaped the woman I am today and they have absolutely shaped the way I approach my career in real estate. 🏡 Real estate, to me, has never been just about buying and selling houses.

It’s about HOME.

It’s about neighborhoods where people feel safe, valued and heard.
It’s about creating opportunity.
It’s about preserving communities while helping them grow.
It’s about redevelopment and renewal that includes the people who were already there.
It’s about helping our communities become better, brighter, stronger and thriving places to call home. ❤️

So serving with Ivory Bay feels very much in alignment with who I am and what I believe my work is supposed to contribute to.
