Zumper’s National Rent Index shows the first monthly gains for both unit types since May 2025: the median one-bedroom rent increased 0.2% to $1,502 and two-bedrooms rose 0.1% to $1,880 this March.

It may still be a good time to be conservative, but signs point toward (slow) growth this summer.

Multifamily delinquencies are on the rise. At times like these, having a Property Manager who can navigate payment plans, support organization requirements, and the delinquency process can make a huge difference for your investments- and your Residents.
