Janet grew up in a small fishing village along the Maine coast. As the daughter of a lobsterman, she has had a lifelong affair with the ocean and the outdoors. Growing up catching her own fish and growing her own vegetables also led to a passion for food. While working as a sommelier in the James Beard award winning restaurant, Hugo’s, Janet met her future husband, Bill, and the two continue to follow their life of adventure and good food. Both their love of the outdoors and restaurants brought them to the beautiful area of South Walton.
