This morning while enjoying my coffee I look out and there are two Sandhill Cranes walking in our backyard. Not five years ago we would have had a hard time finding these in the wild and now right in our own back yard! How cool is that?

I’d like to say thank you to all the people who called on me to help them with their real estate needs. It has been very humbling to me to look back and see how many homes I’ve helped sell. All The people I’ve worked with has been overwhelming to say the least! So thank you everyone who has helped me in my career. I’m retiring after 34+ years it has been a great run and now it’s time to say goodbye and start a new chapter in my life. If you’re looking for someone to help you, I know someone! I want to send a shout out to Tim Bisek of Bisek Interiors. If you’ve never shopped there, you really need to. Tim is not only a business owner. He is also a resident of MONTGOMERY who is willing to help just about anybody. I called him looking for a truck that had a lift on it because we had a fridge on the back of my truck I couldn’t get off Tim said he did not have a truck with a lift and he thought for a moment and said I have a skidster and a pallet and an appliance dolly and I can come right now because in a half an hour I have to be at my sons soccer game. He stopped everything he was doing to help me get the fridge off the truck, Tim with the help of my neighbor Dave they got that fridge off my truck with very little effort, he didn’t want anything for doing that job, I gave him a hug and some Kolackies and he went on his way. Please tell me who does that in this day and age? Well, I’ll tell you Tim does and I wanted to let everyone around Town know the true character of that young man thank you Tim and thank you Dave for all the help yesterday it did not go unnoticed.And that’s why we live in Montgomery!!!

I’m writing this today to inform the tax paying people of Minnesota where some of your money is going!
Did you know that Governor Walz has allocated 150 million dollars to help first time home buyers? Did you also know that only the children of parents that never owned a home can actually get this money? Yes that’s correct! In reality, the parents who actually pay taxes to our lovely state of Minnesota, and actually own a home, their children can’t get the money from this tax paid program. Did you also know that these first time home buyers can get up to 10% of the purchase price (max amount of 35,000) yes 35,000 ! Of which this money is forgiven? 20% a year and after 5 years the debt is forgiven if these first time home buyers are still living in the home! Wow, we as tax paying citizens of Minnesota should be outraged at which the discrimination process our tax paying dollars are being spent. Please go to Governor Walz’s website and look at where your tax dollars are going! Let’s remember this when election time comes around again!
