A few years ago I joined a local referral group so I could meet other business owners in town and send my clients to good people. That's where I met the sellers on this one, and that connection came back around in the best way.

They were ready for something new, with room to park their camper, and last month they found it: a house with a view that stops you in your tracks. By the time I came over to walk through their old place, they'd already moved out. The house was clean, empty, and completely ready to go, with nothing to add to a homework list. Their one ask was to sell quickly so it wouldn't sit vacant.

With great photos and the right exposure, we had multiple offers within about 72 hours. The sellers got the price they were hoping for, and they didn't have to wait around for it.

Around the same time, I met a brand new buyer for the first time. They were ready for a change and wanted a little more room than their current home. This was the first house we toured together, and also the last. The big front room filled with natural light, the back patio, and the primary suite with a jetted tub sealed it, and they came in with a strong offer that won out.

At closing, the sellers and the buyer got to meet and talk about the house. It was a cool moment watching one chapter wrap up and the next one start.

A huge shout out to Dakota, Taryn, and the team at Stuart & Clover Title for their hard work pulling off such a quick close. Y'all made it look easy.

It's not often I get to work both sides of a sale, and when it goes this smoothly it reminds me why I love this job. Congrats to everyone!!! 🎉

Full circle moment ☕️

Long before “Matt Willis, REALTOR®” was a real thing, I was behind these drive thru windows making drinks while I studied for my real estate license. Every rep of talking to strangers at that window turned out to be training I didn’t know I needed.
