When this home came to market as an estate, my clients faced something that is never easy. Letting go of a family home is an emotional process, and there is no roadmap for it. What they did instead of taking the path of least resistance was come together, roll up their sleeves, and pour genuine care into refreshing this home from top to bottom before passing it on.
That kind of intention shows. It shows in the way the home presented and in the new family now preparing to write their own chapter here in New Freedom.
Walking alongside people through a process like this is one of the most meaningful parts of my work. It is never just a transaction. It is a family trusting me with something that matters deeply to them.

This afternoon, members of the Rotary Club of Southern York County, New Freedom Lions Club, New Freedom Area Leo Club, Troop 24 New Freedom, PA, and the York County Prison Honor Guard gathered on Freedom Green in New Freedom to begin place flags for our 9th Annual Flags For Heroes display. Over 100 American flags will stand on Freedom Green into June, each one a visible reminder of the veterans, active service members, and first responders who have served and protected this community and this country.

The Dedication Ceremony is this Saturday, May 30th at 11:00 am on the Green. It is open to everyone and worth showing up for. James Holley of the U.S. Marines and Jack Smith of the U.S. Army will receive special recognition this year.
