This afternoon, members of the Rotary Club of Southern York County, New Freedom Lions Club, New Freedom Area Leo Club, Troop 24 New Freedom, PA, and the York County Prison Honor Guard gathered on Freedom Green in New Freedom to begin place flags for our 9th Annual Flags For Heroes display. Over 100 American flags will stand on Freedom Green into June, each one a visible reminder of the veterans, active service members, and first responders who have served and protected this community and this country.

The Dedication Ceremony is this Saturday, May 30th at 11:00 am on the Green. It is open to everyone and worth showing up for. James Holley of the U.S. Marines and Jack Smith of the U.S. Army will receive special recognition this year.
