✨✨CLIENT SPOTLIGHT 🏠 (long post)

These two brand new homeowners are the epitome of not giving up.

I met Michael and Kasandra last fall, in September. We met at a home they were curious about, and didn’t know much about the home buying process. They knew one thing, and that was to get themselves and their family into a place they could call.. home. After letting them know I would be there through every step of the process, we got news that they would not be able to get their coveted pre-approval letter. They were given instructions by our lender out of Central Bank, Jared Noteboom. It wasn’t a very easy feat, and it made the road a little more rocky. It sounded like homeownership was put on hold for a few months.

After a few different conversations in between September and March, I could sense there was a tiny bit of discouragement. But as always, I tried to keep spirits high and to put trust in our lender.

On a random day indeed, Michael called me up and said “you’ll never guess what happened”… and my smile could not have gotten any bigger. I said “what’s up?” And he said the words. “We did it. We got pre-approved…”

At that moment, my initial thoughts back in November were confirmed… this man and woman won’t stop until they accomplish what they needed to do. For them, and for their 5 children. I knew all along they were capable, and that’s why, real estate agents, you never give up on your clients.

Home after home. Day after day. We weren’t able to find the “one”. As Michael would put it, “I’m just kinda pessimistic is all”. I always just kinda laughed and I said “I know you are”.. but I would always say to keep your head up, it’s coming. And it did. We walked in, and he loved it. Called his wife and let her know, and then we brought the whole fam. They all loved it — and we of course got under contract.

If you bought a home, you know the next 30-40 days are nerve wracking. Inspections.. negotiations.. appraisals… final walkthroughs with 11th hour BS (we’ve all been there). And despite hiccups, these two folks handled it with such calmness. It was always the positive mindset I tried to instill… We are going to get through this. We are going to figure it out. We are going to close.

… and doggawnit, we did just that.
THEY did that. THEY are homeowners. THEY didn’t give up.
THEY did it.

You guys are an inspiration to future homeowners. Listen to the lenders and the agents, stay the course, and good things will come. I am beyond proud to have helped you and your family find your beautiful home. Thank you for trusting me, and thank you for being an inspiration.

One of the greatest opportunities, to be honest, is to witness those putting their mind to a goal.. and reaping the rewards. What a kick ass story. What a kick ass family.
