MEET THE STAFF — TERESA!

Meet Teresa, the handler for Hunter, our Bed Bug Detection Dog!

Teresa and Hunter travel throughout North Carolina performing bed bug inspections in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, healthcare facilities, and residential properties.

But Teresa’s job goes beyond inspections. She also works with facility staff to help educate them about bed bugs, their behavior, what signs to look for, and ways to help prevent them from spreading. Early detection and proper education can make a huge difference—especially in larger healthcare and senior living facilities.

Teresa takes great pride in working with Hunter and helping our customers protect their residents, patients, employees, and facilities.

When she’s not traveling with Hunter, Teresa enjoys spending time with her family and, of course, her fur babies!

WHAT A WEEK AT BRIGHTLEAF PEST CONTROL!

Our Brightleaf crew had an extremely busy week, and we couldn’t be prouder of the work they accomplished!

From residential and commercial pest control to termite treatments, our team stayed on the move taking care of our customers.

Hunter was busy too! We completed several bedbug inspections for residential customers who had recently been traveling, along with a complete inspection of an 85-room nursing home.

Hunter successfully located bedbug activity, and our dedicated bedbug crew immediately went to work heating and treating the affected rooms. Catching bedbugs early and pinpointing exactly where they’re hiding can help prevent them from spreading throughout a facility.

Most importantly, we finished the week knowing that families and residents can sleep a little easier tonight.

Awesome job to the entire Brightleaf crew! Your hard work, long hours, and dedication to taking care of our customers does not go unnoticed.

If you’re a Brightleaf Pest Control customer, there’s a good chance you’ve already met Mason Whitaker, one of our dedicated Pest Control Technicians!

Mason is one of the friendly faces you’ll see when we arrive at your home or business. He truly enjoys meeting our customers, getting to know them, and making sure their pest control needs are taken care of the right way.

We’re proud to have Mason on the Brightleaf team because he understands something that’s very important to us: great pest control is about more than treating bugs—it’s about taking care of people.

When Mason isn’t out helping our customers, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and getting outdoors to do a little fishing.
