Get ready to see a sea of purple across Northeast Ohio this week! It's Advocacy Week, and REALTORS® across our region and the country will be wearing purple to show our commitment to protecting homeownership and private property rights.
So what does advocacy actually mean for you as a homeowner, buyer, or seller in Northeast Ohio? Helping protect property rights and advancing policies that support the real estate industry and the dream of homeownership. That means REALTORS® supporting fair housing policy, reasonable regulation, and the fundamental right to own, buy, and sell property without unnecessary red tape.
As a REALTOR® and incoming President of the Akron Cleveland Association of REALTORS® (ACAR), advocacy is close to Amanda's heart. This work protects not just our industry, but every family in Northeast Ohio working toward homeownership. Whether you are in Cleveland, The Heights, Chagrin Falls, Solon, Hudson, Shaker, Akron, Rocky River, or anywhere across our region, the decisions made in local, state, and federal government directly shape your ability to build wealth through real estate.
So this week, when you see REALTORS® in purple around Northeast Ohio, know we are standing up for something bigger than any one transaction. We are standing up for property rights, for homeownership, and for the communities we love.
