About a year ago, I decided to dive into sourdough and created my own sourdough starter. After several weeks, I was so excited when my starter was finally ready to use! I experimented with many recipes and found making sourdough bread to be an exhausting process, the loaves rarely came out right and when they did, my family and I had a hard time finishing an entire loaf before it would go bad.
Bagels have been something I have loved baking for years now. I decided I wouldn't give up on my sourdough journey and gave a sourdough bagel recipe a try. I have never looked back. I wanted to share a recipe I now use weekly - storing my sourdough starter in the fridge and only taking it out when it is time to make more bagels.
