“Is the DFW market actually down 4%?”

Short answer: Yes.
Dramatic answer: No, the sky isn’t falling.

We’re seeing about 3–5% year-over-year softening in parts of DFW. But context matters.

What happened during COVID was a surge.
Multiple offers. Waived inspections. Prices climbing faster than they ever sustainably could.

What we’re seeing now is normalization.

And here’s what headlines miss:

🏡 DFW is not one market.

Southlake ≠ Fort Worth
Plano ≠ Trophy Club
New construction ≠ 1990s resale

Some neighborhoods are flat.
Some are slightly down.
Some are still competitive.

The real question isn’t “Is the market down?”

It’s:
What’s happening in your exact neighborhood and price point?

This market isn’t collapsing.
It’s selective.

And strategy matters more than ever. 💥

✨ Just Closed in Haslet, Texas ✨

It won’t be a smooth ride (hello, economic updates 🙃), but even small dips can make a big difference in what you pay each month.
