Year 10 - Can’t believe it’s already been a decade of teaching - all middle school might I add! In those 10 years I’ve been at 3 campuses in the same district: Anthony MS, Hopper MS and Smith MS and I was able to learn and grow at each of those campuses and take those lessons with me. If I had to go back and tell my first year teacher self, I would say - 1. You have to teach students boundaries even the little things, 13/14 year olds always need reminders 😂 2. You don’t have to know all the things. Showing our imperfections reflects the humanity in us, 3. GO HOME. The work will be there tomorrow.

This is most prepared I have ever felt! Room was set up by last Friday, online trainings complete, established a new PBIS menu, and got some copies ready for next week! Same schedule, same subject, same 7th graders. Bring on Year 10!
