Residents may now operate properly inspected and registered golf carts on approved Village streets in accordance with the ordinance and Ohio law.
How to Get Your Golf Cart Inspected
✅ Contact the Lewisburg Police Department at 937-962-4677 to schedule an inspection.
Before your inspection, please ensure your golf cart meets all equipment requirements outlined in the ordinance. Once your cart passes inspection, you’ll receive the necessary documentation to complete the registration process.
Please remember:
• Golf carts may only be operated on roads where permitted by the ordinance.
• Operators must follow all Ohio traffic laws.
• All occupants must have seating, and child passengers must comply with Ohio child restraint laws.
• Your inspection decal must be properly displayed once issued.
This program was created to provide residents with a safe and legal way to enjoy golf carts while helping keep our streets safe for everyone.
