She obtained her Broker's license and joined Re/Max Professionals of Springfield in 1997. Melissa is the President of the Melissa Dowson Vorreyer Sales Team, one of central Illinois’ most productive Real Estate Teams, consisting of 9 licensed Brokers! Together they offer over 150 years combined experience. Melissa obtained a Bachelors degree in 1994 in marketing from the College of Agriculture at

the University of Illniois in Champaign-Urbana. Melissa specializes in: residential, commercial, new construction, lots and land, farmland, relocation and development. Through the course of her career, Melissa has been the recipient of many RE/MAX International Sales Awards: Americas Best Real Estate Agents by REAL Trends, President's Club, Platinum Club, Chairmans Club, Hall of Fame, Lifetime Achievement Award, Diamond Award and the very prestigious Circle of Legends Award. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two grown daughters. Melissa was raised on a farm in Divernon, Illinois where her family still grows corn and soybeans. She is also involved with the farm and enjoys sharing this part of her family history with her two daughters. Melissa and her family are also active members of Christ the King Parish in Springfield.
