I bought my first home 🏡 in 2016. Just a 1200 sqft townhome, nothing too fancy. Today, I checked the value of that home today and it has appreciated over 100K 💰 . That was 7 years ago. In those 7 years, I've met no less than 100 people each year who have told me that they were waiting until prices dropped or until the market crashed.

Each year, I've tried to explain to those people why that wasn't going to happen. This year, more than any other time in those years, people need to understand that this is not happening. It's simple supply and demand. We don't have enough homes for the amount of people who are trying to buy and that lack of inventory is going to continue to drive prices up.
