Last weekend, I had a chance to attend Taste of Henry at Southern Belle Farm, and it was such a great evening of food, fun, local businesses and community!

Credit was the top concern in last week’s poll, so today we’re taking the next step: finding out what is actually being reported.

Before assuming your credit will prevent you from purchasing a home, review your credit reports for:

✔️ Accounts you don’t recognize
✔️ Incorrect balances or payment information
✔️ Late payments
✔️ Collection accounts
✔️ Outdated personal information

Don’t rush to pay, dispute or close accounts based on general advice online. Every situation is different. Review the information first, then speak with a trusted lender who can help you understand what may need attention.
