Some places never leave you. The Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina has had a piece of my heart for over 25 years and this summer I finally got to share it with my granddaughter Ellie for the very first time

Just the two of us Cowboy hats, a stuffed animal named Cedric waiting on her pillow, falconry with a hawk named Sam Adams, carriage ride and a picnic on front lawn watching the Luminere light show which is a MUST SEE!

She calls it “The Castle” She’s not wrong

If you have never been to the Biltmore Estate you need to put it on your list. And if you have a little one in your life who deserves to feel like they stepped into a fairytale, this is the place

Hometown Heroes Down Payment Assistance is BACK and if you have been waiting for the right moment, this is it.

Starting July 13th, $50 million in funding becomes available again through the Florida Hometown Heroes Housing Program. This is one of the most powerful down payment assistance programs available to working Floridians right now, and it is first come first served so timing matters.

Here is what is new this time around. Manufactured and mobile homes are now eligible. The occupational requirements have not changed, so teachers, nurses, law enforcement, firefighters, and other qualifying Florida workers who have looked into this before should absolutely look again.
