Price gouging is ILLEGAL during emergencies, per California state law. YES, this includes housing!!! Report it to County of Los Angeles Department of Consumer and Business Affairs by calling (800) 593-8222 or emailing [email protected]

I am proud that my Brokerage has canceled several lease listings for properties whose landlord wanted to profit from this disaster by inflating pricing. Neither me nor my brokerage will tolerate this atrocious lack of ethics.

You typically do not have to put 20% down on a house. In fact, the average down payment for first-time buyers is just 6 percent and there are loan programs that let you put as little as zero down. However, a smaller down payment often means a more expensive mortgage long-term but if you want to get into a house sooner rather than later, that might be a sacrifice you want to make!

The Last Thing He Told Me

Synopsis: Hannah’s husband Owen disappears and she fumbles around aimlessly attempting to figure out what happened. She eventually does. The end. 🙄🤷🏻‍♂️

I forced myself to finish this one. After getting several chapters in, it sat unread gathering dust on my nightstand for months. I even schlepped it with me to Europe and back, but didn’t crack it open even once. I have a habit of tossing aside books that don’t move me and I’m trying to push through, committing to finishing what I start.

Not a long book, yet it still felt unnecessarily dragged out. Maybe it should have been a short story?

Hopefully my girl Jennifer Garner can work some magic playing the lead character (Hannah) in the upcoming Apple+ adaptation 🙏
