🌊 Beach Renourishment Update for Our Guests 🌊

We just learned that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is currently working in the Surfside Beach area as part of the beach renourishment project.

While there’s a possibility the work could be near our property during some upcoming stays, the good news is that the project moves steadily, and work is typically in front of any one property for only a few days before moving on. If crews are directly in front of the house, that section of beach may be temporarily closed, but nearby beach access is generally available within a short walk.

We’ll continue to monitor the project’s progress and keep our guests updated with any important changes. Once the project is complete, everyone will be able to enjoy a wider, freshly restored beach!

🌴✨ Backyard Oasis Just Got Even Better — Surfside Beach, SC! ✨🌴

The pergola project is officially complete at Backyard Oasis in Surfside Beach, South Carolina, and we could not be happier with how it turned out!

A huge thank you to Dennis at Alllscape Patio & Landscape for creating such a beautiful backyard space. The motorized pergola truly is the icing on the cake — providing adjustable sun, shade, and an amazing nighttime atmosphere around the pool. It feels like a private resort now!

Families now have a perfect place to relax between beach trips, enjoy the pool, grill out, and spend evenings together under the lights 🌙

Behind every great beach week is a crew that cares!

This week was extra special great friends from Massachusetts even spent their winter break helping us get Windswept, Backyard Oasis, and The Dance ready for the season!

From installing bathroom fans to replacing lightbulbs and smoke alarm batteries, plus all the maintenance projects and upgrades, there’s a lot of behind-the-scenes work that goes into making sure every guest walks into a clean, safe, relaxing home. You may never see it, but you definitely feel it when you arrive. ☀️

We’re incredibly thankful for the helping hands and good friends who pitch in so our guests ans their families can keep making beach memories year after year.

Final Project Underway at Backyard Oasis!

We’re finishing up our last upgrade this weekend the new pergola over the pool at Backyard Oasis!

This addition will provide the perfect balance of sun and shade, a relaxing poolside hangout spot, and an even better outdoor space for families to enjoy 🏖️

Windswept has a new pool heater & cooler system!

Our guests can enjoy comfortable swimming water temperatures March through October, warm in the spring and fall and refreshing during the summer. 😎🏖️

🌴🔧 Project Complete! – New Deck Railings at Windswept, Backyard Oasis & The Dance Decks 🔧🌴

The upgrade is finished!

We have officially completed the replacement of all exterior deck and balcony railings at Windswept, Backyard Oasis, and The Dance Decks. Coastal weather, salt air, and sun are tough on exterior materials, so we proactively replaced them with coastal-rated composite/vinyl railing systems designed for durability and safety.

We appreciate all of our returning guests and look forward to welcoming everyone for the upcoming season! ☀️🏖️
