Dolly Parton's Imagination Library will live on. A dedication to her father in 1995 because he himself could not read. She wanted to be able to give back to children from ages 0 to 5 years old to impact them at their earliest ages. She was one of 12 children living in a home with no electricity or running water and she believed if there was books in their home that her dad would have had the ability to have had more opportunity and education. Dolly's music will live on and so will the Imagination Library.

I was teaching my kid how to be self-sufficient and change her windshield wipers.... and in the process I broke her windshield. Now she gets to learn how to make an insurance claim. Follow me for more tips. 🤣🤓🤦‍♀️💜

I wasn't always on board with this whole Nerd thing. Kate created the whole branding I cannot take the credit for it. I've repeatedly told her for years that I was an athlete I was smart I was top of my class. And today I had a flashback of the Book it Club and and all the ELA (I think that was the name of it) at Ballast Point Elementary reading challenges. I was also had almost an unhealthy obsession with the Underground Railroad. Literally almost every single book report for probably three to five solid years that I did was on Harriet Tubman and every single aspect of the Underground Railroad and the abolition of slavery. So yeah I was as competitive in sports as I was to history and language arts because I had to win like it was a sport that's hilarious when I think about it. I will beat you in Reading. And if Dawn Mitchell or MyLinh Nguyen is reading this they know they were my competitors. 🤣🤓🤦‍♀️💜

The old Schwartz Supermarket is getting a glow up in Hyde Park! I used to live diagonally to this building 20 years ago when I first met my husband. It's nice seeing it brought back to life. And of course 📸 credit to the middle photo goes to Chip Weiner Chip Weiner 💜🤓🛒

Some closings are a little rougher than others. I usually tailor the gifts appropriately, you can see how this one went. No one's fault other than it just wasn't smooth. It happens. Things happen. Thankfully many great people working together made it smoother. 💜🤓
