I’ve gotten opportunities, relationships, deals, experiences, and breakthroughs not because I was the smartest person in the room, but because I was willing to ask the question.

Was I nervous? Absolutely.

Did I risk looking stupid? Plenty of times.

Did I hear “no”? More than I can count.

But every “yes” I’ve ever received started with a question I was willing to ask.

Too many people talk themselves out of opportunities before anyone else gets the chance to.

They reject themselves.
They assume the answer.
They never take the shot.

So here’s your reminder:

Ask for the meeting.
Ask for the opportunity.
Ask for the raise.
Ask her out.
Ask for help.
Ask for the deal.

Because if you don’t ask, the answer is already no.
And what’s the worst that can happen?
You end up exactly where you are today.

But what’s the best that can happen?
Your entire life changes because you had the courage to ask.
Go for it.

Recently, I was in a canoe with three of my buddies. Much of the trip was calm and enjoyable. But we hit more rapids, logs, or obstacles that threatened to throw us off course and flip the boat than we were expecting.

Something became very clear.

Whenever we froze, panicked, or stopped paddling, we lost control and flipped…

But when we communicated, trusted each other, and kept rowing through the chaos, we stayed upright and made it through.

The lesson wasn’t lost on me.

Life works the same way.

At some point, all of us will face rough water. Loss. Stress. Failure. Anxiety. Depression. Grief. Uncertainty. The details may be different, but the feeling is universal.

When life gets hard, many men retreat inward. We convince ourselves we need to figure it out alone. We stop talking. We stop reaching out. We stop rowing.

But the answer isn’t to stop moving.
It’s to keep going.
Keep talking.
Keep asking for help.
Keep showing up.
Keep rowing.

And if someone you care about seems to be struggling, don’t assume they’re okay because they look strong. Reach out. Check in. Listen.

Sometimes the strongest thing a man can do is let someone else grab a paddle.

This Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, let’s remind the men in our lives that they don’t have to navigate the rapids alone.

Keep rowing. The calm water is still ahead.

Stopped for lunch between showings and watched a police officer pray with his wife and daughter before eating.

Thought it was pretty awesome, so I paid for their lunch and thanked him for being a Rad Dad.

Had to fight back a little thug tear. 😂

Pray over your family. Pray over your life. Every day is a blessing, and every day is a gift.

Big reminder today:

No matter how successful someone looks on the outside, everyone is carrying something.

Speak up. Check on your people. Ask for help when you need it. There’s strength in that.

Have a great day. 😎✌️

📍 7349 Honeysuckle Dr. suite 100 Temple Tx.
Today, May 30th from 🕰️ 12:00-4:00

We’re proud to partner with Project Heartbeat and the Belton ISD Resource Center for a community food drive with one big mission:

To help provide over 50,000 meals for local families and students who rely on school-provided meals throughout the year. When school is out, many families feel that gap immediately. This event is about neighbors coming together to make sure kids in our community continue to have access to food and support when they need it most.

This is what community is supposed to look like.
Thank you to everyone who has already donated, volunteered, sponsored, or shared the event. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

We hope to see you there and make a BIG impact together for families across Bell County.

VA loan assumptions can be a HUGE opportunity… if you understand the fine print. 🇺🇸🏡

A buyer can take over a seller’s LOW VA interest rate, even civilians can assume the loan if they qualify.

BUT:

• Civilian assumption = seller’s VA entitlement usually stays tied up with the property
• Veteran assumption = seller may restore their entitlement while the new buyer uses theirs

AND if the home value is higher than the loan balance, the buyer typically needs CASH or a second loan for the difference.

These deals also take around 60-90 days, so strategy and timing matters.

Thinking about buying or selling with a VA assumption? Message me before you make a move. It could SAVE, or COST you tens of thousands. 💸

🙅‍♂️ None of my recent sellers with solar panels were happy they added them.

One seller had to bring $40,000 to closing just to pay off the solar debt instead of putting money in their pocket.

Solar isn’t always bad, but if you don’t understand the financing and resale impact, it can cost you big when it’s time to sell.

Thinking about solar? Buying or selling real estate? Message me first.
