There are a lot of home inspectors out there. I got into this because I genuinely love it.

I truly care about every home I inspect and every client I work with. My goal is to help buyers feel informed and confident about what they’re getting into — not overwhelmed or scared.

Most people think a home inspection is just something you “have to do.”

I don’t see it that way.

Whether you’re buying, selling, or investing—an inspection should give you clarity, confidence, and a real understanding of what you’re walking into.

For buyers:
This is one of the biggest purchases you’ll ever make. My goal isn’t just to point out issues—it’s to help you understand the house, what matters, what doesn’t, and what you can realistically expect moving forward. I want you to feel comfortable with your decision, not overwhelmed by it.

For sellers (pre-listing):
No one likes surprises when you’re already under contract. A pre-listing inspection helps you get ahead of things, make repairs on your terms, and present your home with confidence.

For investors:
Time is money. You don’t need fluff—you need to know what’s going to cost you, what’s a deal breaker, and what’s manageable. I tailor inspections to help you make quick, informed decisions.

At the end of the day, I try to be more of a consultant than just “the inspector.”

Buying a home? Selling one? Looking at an investment property?

An inspection can be one of the most valuable parts of the entire process.

For buyers, my goal isn’t just to walk through the house and send you a report. I try to approach inspections more like a professional consultant. I want you to truly understand the home you’re buying — how the systems work, what may need attention now, what might come later, and what’s just normal homeownership stuff.

No house is perfect. But when you understand what you’re getting into, you can move forward with confidence instead of surprises.

For sellers, a pre-listing inspection can make the whole process smoother. Finding things ahead of time lets you address them on your terms instead of discovering them during a buyer’s inspection when negotiations are already happening.

For investors, inspections are really about risk and numbers. I focus on major concerns, deferred maintenance, and big-ticket items so you can better estimate repairs and decide if the deal makes sense.

At the end of the day my goal is simple:
Help people understand the property they’re dealing with so they can make confident decisions.

Spring is right around the corner, and this is the time of year small issues turn into expensive ones if they’re ignored.

Here are a few things I always recommend homeowners check once the weather starts warming up:

• Walk around your house and look at the roof from the ground — missing shingles, lifted edges, or dark patches after winter storms are red flags

• Make sure downspouts discharge away from the foundation (extensions are cheap… foundation repairs are not)

• Check around windows and doors for cracked caulk — water intrusion usually starts small and stays hidden

• Turn on exterior faucets (if temp is warm enough) and watch for leaks inside (frozen/burst hose bibs show up this time of year)

• Clean out gutters before the spring rains hit

• Change furnace filter and schedule AC servicing before the first hot week when HVAC companies get slammed

• Look for grading or low spots around the home where water may pool

Most major home defects I see every week started as something minor that just went unnoticed.
