We went out with a TOTALLY 80’s REWIND! 🕺✨

Neon colors, leg warmers, headbands, big hair, and LOTS of fun! 💕💙💛 From the music to the fashion, our residents and staff took a trip back in time and finished the week with plenty of smiles and laughter!

What a fun-filled week celebrating the incredible people who make The Havens such a special place! ❤️

🕺✨ Assisted Living Week: Groovy 70s Day! ✨💃

We turned back the clock today and brought on the Disco Fever! 🪩🌈 From bright colors and groovy outfits to lots of laughs, our 70s-themed day was full of fun and nostalgia!

Our residents even played a 70s Price Is Right! 📺💰 They had to guess what everyday items would have cost back in the 1970s—and then we compared those prices to what they cost today. Let’s just say…there were some shocking price differences! 😲

We kicked off the morning with our Coffee & Conversation, singing Happy Birthday and enjoying cake with our wonderful Activity Director, Karen! 🎂☕❤️

It was a day filled with music, memories, laughter, and plenty of good times. We’re keeping the celebration going all week long! 🎉

With colorful yarn, they gave their unicorns the most beautiful, whimsical hair—and each one turned out as unique and special as the person who created it! 🎨🧶

We love seeing the smiles, creativity, and pride that come with every craft. 💕 Our Memory Care residents prove that there’s always room for a little magic, imagination, and fun! 🦄✨

Our residents and staff got into the spirit with tie-dye, bell bottoms, peace sign jewelry, and plenty of 60’s flair! 🌈🕺

And what better way to celebrate than with some Elvis! 🎤🎶 Our Elvis entertainer had everyone singing, clapping, and enjoying some good old-fashioned rock ‘n’ roll!

🎀🕺 ASSISTED LIVING WEEK – 1950s DAY! 🕺🎀

Today we stepped back in time to the fabulous 1950s! ❤️ Our residents and staff had a blast dressing the part in poodle skirts, saddle shoes, and plenty of retro flair! 🥰

And what better way to cool off than with a visit from Mr. Softee! 🍦🍨 Everyone enjoyed a delicious ice cream treat thanks to our wonderful friends at Serenity Hospice, who sponsored today’s sweet surprise! 💙

From the outfits to the ice cream and all the smiles in between, it was a day filled with fun, laughter, and a little 1950s nostalgia! 🎶🎀🍦

✨💄 National Assisted Living Week has officially kicked off! 💄✨

This year’s theme is “Shining Through the Years,” and there was no better way to start our week than with a little Glamour Shots! 📸✨

Our residents had so much fun getting dressed up, getting glam, striking a pose, and showing us that their light continues to shine through every chapter of their lives. ❤️

There were plenty of smiles, laughs, beautiful outfits, and, of course, some serious superstar moments! ⭐

Here’s to celebrating the incredible stories, experiences, wisdom, and personalities that make each of our residents so special.

👵👴 Happy National Grandparents Day! ❤️

Today, we’re celebrating our amazing residents and the many chapters of their lives that came long before retirement.

Our residents weren’t always sitting back and enjoying the slower pace of life. They were teachers, nurses, business owners, homemakers, mechanics, office professionals, military members, caregivers, community leaders, and so much more. They worked hard, raised families, built businesses, served their communities, and made a difference in the lives of others.

Every resident has a story… a career, a passion, a family, and a lifetime of accomplishments that helped shape the person they are today. 🥰

This National Grandparents Day, we wanted to recognize not only the grandparents they are, but the incredible individuals they were—and still are.

We are so proud to celebrate their stories, their accomplishments, and the legacy they continue to leave behind. ❤️

Because retirement may have ended a career, but it never ends a lifetime of purpose. 🌟

🍂🎉 Bingo, Bingo, Bingo! 🎉🍂

Our Memory Care residents had a wonderful time enjoying a fun game of Bingo! There were plenty of smiles, laughs, and a little friendly competition along the way. ❤️

We were also happy to welcome Courtney from Bayada for a special Fall Prevention Bingo! 🧡 Courtney combined important fall-safety tips with everyone’s favorite game, making learning about safety both fun and interactive.

A big thank you to Courtney and Bayada for spending time with our residents and helping us keep fall prevention top of mind! 👏
