This morning, the Kansas REALTORS® team had the opportunity to volunteer with SENT Topeka as part of REALTOR® Volunteer Days!

SENT (Strengthening & Equipping Neighborhoods Together) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to walking alongside neighbors through relationships, resources, and community development to help transform neighborhoods throughout Shawnee County. Their work focuses on education, housing, health and wellness, and creating opportunities for families to thrive.

We are grateful for the chance to serve alongside an organization that is making a lasting impact in our community and helping build stronger neighborhoods for everyone.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

A meaningful fact to reflect on: even today, more than 32,000 veterans experience homelessness in the United States on any given night. It’s a powerful reminder that honoring our heroes can also mean supporting those who have served and advocating for their rights and well-being.

In observance of the holiday, our office will be closed as we take time to reflect, and we encourage you to do the same. Whether it’s attending a local ceremony, supporting veteran organizations, advocating for those in need, or simply pausing in gratitude, every act of remembrance matters.
