Torrington Downtown Partners We're Up On Downtown! In 2010, we purchased nine buildings that had been in foreclosure. Inc. who is a Torrington native.

Many empty storefronts, second floor professional spaces, and apartments. While most of our spaces are leased, we are have a few vacancies and welcome new ideas. Torrington Downtown Partners was formed in September 2010 by a group of investors who recognized a historic opportunity to shape the revitalization of downtown Torrington, Connecticut. They stepped up to purchase 9 buildings in the heart

of downtown, representing storefronts, offices, apartments, and a ballroom. Their goal is two-fold: To break the cycle of absentee ownership and vacant storefronts in the heart of downtown, and to involve the community at-large in making decisions about and being a part in the turnaround and rehabilitation of a key part of the city. Torrington Downtown Partners, LLC was formed by Steven Temkin, CEO of T&M Building Co. Steven Roth, is a long time Torrington resident and is President and Owner of Elevator Service Co., Inc, having operations in Torrington, Waterbury, and Bridgeport. David Bender, owner of Bender Showrooms, operates kitchen and bath design showrooms in New Haven, Bridgeport, Hartford and Waterbury. He more recently opened a new location at 29 Main St. in Torrington which is in one of the buildings recently acquired by Torrington Downtown Partners.

We would like to add our congratulations and appreciation as Sue Ferguson retires to her next great adventure.
Sue has dedicated the past 32 years to the making sure Torrington students had a strong education. Starting as teacher, becoming a principal and finally as assistant Superintendent, she was able to follow students through our schools. She worked to ensure that new programs were implemented and that the new middle and high school buildings were designed to meet the needs of our children.

Hi friends! Starting Monday 6/15 our hours will be changing just a little.

When we host trivia we will stay open later. If you need us to stay open later for any other reason (such as tours,) please reach out to me. If you need a cake, cupcakes, or catering order that doesn’t fit within our new hours, please don’t hesitate to ask.

We’ve noticed that we’ve been getting busier in the late morning/early afternoon and we feel that by trimming our hours we can staff more during those hours to better serve you.
