The amount of overwhelm coordinating and communicating for all the above, school projects, days grieving them being this little, big emotions from all during lots of transition times, a lot of tears and little sleep.

Still wouldn’t have it any other way to be able to look back and be reminded of the GOOD.

I’ve seen Rochester homeowners spend $40K on a kitchen remodel and wonder why they didn’t make it back at closing.

Meanwhile, the house down the street spent $400 on a coat of paint, spruced up their yard, and walked away with more.

I’ve walked through homes where the owner gutted the bathroom before listing and barely broke even.

Then I’ve seen a $1,500 garage door swap change a buyer’s entire first impression before they got to the front door.

The upgrades that move the needle are usually the ones that remove objections.

A well-maintained yard says “this home is cared for.”

One of my favorite date night spots has become Sylvan Table. We’ve made it our little tradition to go once each season, because their menu changes with the seasons, and it never disappoints.

The atmosphere? Warm, cozy, and just the right mix of elevated and down-to-earth.
The food? Fresh, creative, and locally sourced (you can literally see their on-site garden!).
The experience? Always one that slows us down and reminds us how good it feels to pause, reconnect, and just enjoy where we are.
