What does Lake Lure's recovery actually mean for buyers?

I have been watching the Lake Lure recovery closely — because we have clients with real questions about this market.

Here is what I am seeing: The lake reopened April 20.
A grand reopening ceremony is scheduled May 23.
The infrastructure investment from FEMA and the Army Corps of Engineers has been substantial.

When a community comes through something like Helene and comes back, it comes back with better bones.

Buyers who move before the full Memorial Weekend reopening are buying ahead of the story, not behind it.
