This one is pretty special. 🖤
I’m incredibly honored to be featured in The Wall Street Journal in a story about something I’m deeply passionate about: helping young athletes understand that their NIL income can be more than money to spend today. It can be an opportunity to build something that lasts.
The article highlights college athletes who are using their NIL earnings to purchase real estate while they’re still in school, creating opportunities for homeownership, investment, rental income, and long-term wealth.
This is exactly why I love teaching financial literacy and the power of real estate to University of Arizona student-athletes.
When a young person can take income they earned from their talent and turn it into an asset that can appreciate, generate income, and potentially create generational wealth, that’s a conversation worth having.
I’m grateful to The Wall Street Journal for including me in this conversation and to the athletes and families who have trusted me to be part of their journey.
And honestly, seeing Tucson and Arizona athletes represented in the WSJ makes this one a little sweeter. ❤️🌵
