Sales ticked up for the third month in a row, hitting a rate we have not seen since spring.

Even better, inventory is finally inching higher year over year, though listings are still far below historic levels.

Prices keep pressing upward, proving that demand is alive whenever rates drift toward six percent.

Remember, this is not 2008; today’s 1.43 million active listings are a fraction of the four-million glut we saw back then.
