🏖️ Heated in the winter… CHILLED in the summer! 💦☀️

This may be one of my favorite upgrades at Beachside Colony!

We already have a pool that is heated during the cooler months, but now we also have pool chillers for those HOT Tybee summer days! 🙌

The last time I got in the pool was in September, and I was honestly blown away. The water was actually cool and refreshing instead of feeling like bathwater! 😂 After being out in the heat and on the beach, it felt SO good to come back and actually cool off in the pool.

It sounds like a little thing until you’ve experienced a Georgia summer at the beach. Then you realize it is a VERY big thing. 😎

☀️ Hot summer? Cool pool.
❄️ Cool winter? Heated pool.
🌊 And the Atlantic Ocean is just steps away.

Add in our beachfront location, two pools, direct beach access, The Deck restaurant right on the property, and our spacious 3-bedroom condo, and Tybee Turtle Time at Beachside Colony is kind of a no-brainer. 🐢💙

I looked at a LOT of properties before choosing this one, and upgrades like this just keep reminding me why I did!

🏖️ A little Tybee Turtle Time update! 🐢💙

I made a trip out to Tybee today for our HOA meeting, but of course, no trip onto the island is complete without my stop at Surfing Goat for a bagel and coffee! ☕️🥯 I may or may not consider this an official part of my Tybee routine at this point. 😂

Then it was off to Beachside Colony for the meeting, and I left feeling really excited about how well our property is being cared for. I love seeing firsthand that the resort continues to be maintained and improved, not just for owners, but for all of our guests who come to enjoy it.

And one improvement I’m REALLY loving… they added a CHILLER to the pool! 🙌💦

I noticed the difference the last time I was there. Even in September, the pool wasn’t hot! If you’ve ever jumped into a pool after a long, hot Tybee beach day and discovered the water feels suspiciously like bathwater 😂, you know what a great addition this is. A cool, refreshing pool right off the beach is exactly what you want!

And Beachside Colony is already thinking ahead to the holidays. 🎄✨ They’re planning those beautiful Christmas lights around the pool and at the front of the property again this year. If you’re considering a December Tybee getaway, it really does add a little extra magic to a beach vacation.

🐢 **Apparently there is ONE thing I can't provide at Tybee Turtle Time Condo... an on-demand sea turtle hatching!** 😂🌊

I absolutely loved this review from one of our recent guests. I can stock the condo, make sure you have everything you need, and be available when you need me... but Mother Nature still refuses to let me control the turtle schedule. 🤷‍♀️🐢

“Absolutely blessed experience. The only disappointment was the sea turtle at our pier didn’t hatch during our stay (no reflection of host. Mother Nature timing). Condo was supplied with all needs possible. Easy access, host readily available and follows up to ensure our needs were met. We will be back! Thank you for a great vacation!”

One of the biggest reasons I bought Tybee Turtle Time Condo wasn’t just the condo itself. It was the lifestyle.

When I was looking at condos on Tybee, I kept coming back to Beachside Colony. Out of all the places I toured, this one simply felt like a vacation from the moment I arrived.

The entire community sits directly on the beach, on the beach side of Butler Avenue. That means no crossing busy streets and no long walk just to put your toes in the sand. Walk out of the building, and you’re just moments from the beach.

One of my favorite parts? The resort-style pools overlooking the ocean. You can spend the day floating in the pool while listening to the waves, then wander over to The Deck Beach Bar & Kitchen for lunch, dinner, or a frozen drink without ever getting in your car.

That’s what sold me.
