As another school year begins, we want to wish all of our students, parents, teachers, and school staff an amazing first day and a successful year ahead!

Whether you’re heading to kindergarten, middle school, high school, college, or cheering on your little learners, we hope this year is filled with new friendships, exciting opportunities, and great achievements.

As a reminder, please use extra caution while driving through the community. Watch for children walking to bus stops, crossing streets, and boarding or exiting school buses.

Southwire's annual Back to School supply giveaway is coming up Saturday, July 18, from 9 A.M. to noon at Midway Church in Villa Rica, Ga. 🍎✏️

This year, Southwire will give away more than 30,000 bags of free school supplies across its communities, with nearly 5,000 of those bags allocated to the west Georgia area.

**🎒 Antioch Baptist Church of Bowdon Backpack Giveaway 🎒**

At Bowdon Elementary School, we are incredibly grateful for the continued support of Antioch Baptist Church of Bowdon and their unwavering commitment to serving our students and families.

Once again, Antioch Baptist Church will be partnering with BES during Open House on Monday, August 3, from 4:00–7:30 p.m. to host their annual Backpack Giveaway. Each backpack has been filled with school supplies that are specifically matched to the Bowdon Elementary School supply list for each grade level, helping our students begin the year prepared for success.

The first 500 students to visit will receive a backpack, and Antioch Baptist Church will also have some special treats for our Red Devils to enjoy!

We are truly blessed to have such a caring community partner.
