This beautiful condo took a little longer to sell than anticipated, but we are officially UNDER CONTRACT!
We hit the market just as the summer slowdown began. My clients opted to wait until fall to make a price adjustment, but what we couldn’t have anticipated was another rise in interest rates.
Sometimes, that’s the price of waiting. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Despite the challenges of the current DC condo market, we secured a solid offer, and we’re officially moving toward closing!

The takeaway? When the market speaks, listen.👂🏼 Strategic pricing and timing matter, especially in a shifting market. And sometimes, your Realtor’s advice is worth taking sooner rather than later. 😉

I met this lovely couple at an open house last fall, and we instantly clicked. They were planning a wedding and thought homeownership was probably a Spring 2027 goal.
Fast forward to Labor Day—they walked into an open house, fell in love with the home, and by that evening, we were strategizing an offer. A few bumps along the way, but with the help of my trusted lender, we made it to the finish line. 🏡🔑
There was an upside to buying in a higher-rate market: less competition gave us negotiating leverage, and I was able to secure a pretty sweet deal for them.
My advice? Don’t try to perfectly time the market. Buy when the timing is right for 𝒚𝒐𝒖. The right market conditions may give you opportunities to negotiate on price and terms—and while a rate may be refinanced later, the house you love may not be there later.
So grateful for the opportunity to help wonderful clients achieve their real estate goals. 🙏🏼💕

Some clients become so much more than clients. ❤️
Thirteen years ago, I met this wonderful couple at a rental listing. A year later, they trusted me to help them buy their first home in the DMV. I was still a new agent, and I’ll always be grateful they gave me that opportunity.
Now, 12 years later, I’ve had the privilege of helping them sell that same home as they begin an exciting new chapter.
