Inspection Day! 🏡👏

Inspection day can be a long one-sometimes several hours, so I come prepared with cold waters and a few treats to keep everyone fueled while we take a closer look at the property 🏡

Our inspection team included:
🌟Dan Dubuque of CT Inspection Consultants LLC, thoroughly inspecting the home’s systems, exterior, and outbuildings
🌟Gene Fercodini of Advanced Water Systems, inspecting the well and filtration systems
🌟Northeast Envirocare, completing the septic inspection

There’s a lot that goes into making sure my clients have the information they need before moving forward with their new home.

This time, I visited Maple Bank Farm in Roxbury-a local farm that’s been part of the community since 1730! From fresh seasonal produce and flowers to locally made goods, it’s such a special spot to experience the best of small-town Connecticut. 🍂

A great showing starts before we ever walk through the front door. 🏡✨

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at how I prep for a day of showings:

📄 Print MLS listings so we can review the details and discuss each property
📝 Have disclosures + important documents ready for every home
📍 Map out an efficient route between properties
⏰ Schedule appointments with plenty of time to explore and travel between homes
🔎 Walk through each property with my clients, looking at the details that matter most to them

And sometimes, you find a few unexpected favorites along the way! 👀 This weekend’s showings included an outdoor shower and a garden workshop-two pretty cool features!

The goal? Make the home-buying process feel organized, informed and (hopefully!) a little fun. 🤍
