What a privilege it’s been to lead my very own momma through the journey to homeownership. Helping her find a place of comfort, safety, and peace — a place she can truly make her own — has been one of the sweetest and most bittersweet chapters of my career.

Closing day on 207 S Bell feels like closing a chapter of my own story.

This building has been in my family for over 50 years. My parents ran their furniture store here throughout my childhood and into my college years — but the memories inside these walls are what shaped me most.

I spent summers with my Nana, helping customers and learning what it meant to truly care for people. I rode along on late‑night deliveries with my dad, watching him work hard, laugh with customers, and treat every single person with kindness and respect. As a family, we spent countless hours building something together — a business, yes, but also a legacy of service, grit, and heart.

And then there’s my mom. She wasn’t just our rock growing up — she showed us what real strength looks like. Watching her walk through grief and still love people so well taught us girls more than words ever could. Her example is woven into everything I do today.

Those years in this building shaped who I am and how I run my own business now. They taught me to show up for people, to listen well, and to always treat others the way I would want to be treated.
