What is a Wind Mitigation Inspection?
A wind mitigation inspection checks the wind resistance features of the home. This includes the roof covering, roof attachment to wall, roof decking type and attachment, and types of opening protection used. Insurance companies use this information to determine if you would qualify for any discounts on your homeowners insurance premiums.
If your home was built before 2002 and you would like to have a wind mitigation inspection to see if you can save on your insurance premiums give Red Rooster Inspection Services a call.
