Accountable Management is hiring a part-time maintenance assistant for properties that we manage in St. Pete, Clearwater and Palm Harbor. Accountable Management has been in business for over 30 years managing self-storage facilities and commercial properties. This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs at multiple locations in St. Pete, Clearwater, and Palm Harbor. Reliable transportation is a requirement. As the company grows there is potential for this position to become full-time.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year maintenance experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred.
• Knowledge of local building codes and ordinance preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in current State with satisfactory driving record.
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours.
• Job requires going on roofs, going up and down ladders, crawling in attics and other physical requirements as needed.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Communicate effectively and professionally with supervisor, co-workers, tenants, and owners.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Always exhibit a professional image through appearance and dress. Company shirts are provided annually.
• Complete repairs and maintenance requests as needed.
• Meets with vendors and suppliers when needed to discuss scope of work and materials needed. In most cases the Service Manager will be conducting meetings but times may arise when they are not available.
• Learns and utilizes AppFolio to track work orders and time.
• Other duties as assigned.
