Last week, Newbury had members of our company attend the Iowa Finance Authority conference, and it was a great experience!

For 25 years, Cara Mullins has been making an impact on our company, our teams, and the communities we serve. Today, we’re celebrating her! 🎉

Cara began her career with Heartland Management Company in 2001 after earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa in 1999. Over the past 25 years, she has grown through nearly every side of the property management industry.

Since 2016, Cara has overseen apartment operations with a particular focus on affordable housing compliance. Her experience, knowledge, and dedication have made a lasting impact on our teams, our properties, and the residents we serve.

From her early days in the industry to her leadership today as President of Newbury Living, Cara’s career is a reflection of growth, commitment, and a genuine dedication to the people and communities around her.

A night at the ballpark with the Newbury team! ⚾

Last night, the Newbury corporate team and the FLUX Apartments team headed to Principal Park to watch the Iowa Cubs take on the Omaha Storm Chasers, and what a game it was! The I-Cubs pulled off a 7-to-6 walk-off win to cap off a great night.

A special thank you to Damian Lind, an Account Executive with the Iowa Cubs and a current FLUX resident, for helping coordinate the event.

We also want to thank Anna Scott, our Property Manager, and Sharon Wolfe, our Special Projects Manager, for helping make the evening a success.

And of course, a huge thank you to Andrew, owner of FLUX Apartments, for providing the food and beverages and making this a memorable night for everyone. We truly appreciate the opportunity to enjoy a night together and strengthen the relationships that make partnerships like this possible.

Today is a bittersweet day at Newbury Living as we say farewell to our fantastic summer intern, Megan! 🌟

Megan made such a meaningful impact during her time with us, and it has been so rewarding to watch her learn, grow, and take on new challenges this summer. She accomplished so much, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she contributed to the team. We want to thank her for bringing such a great attitude, a willingness to learn, and positive energy to work each day.
